J-Hope Announces ‘Hope on the Stage’ World Tour and Teases New Music

South Korean pop icon J-Hope steps into the spotlight with his first ever solo world tour, Hope on stage. The BTS rapper and singer shared the exciting news just three months after completing his mandatory military service, marking a much-anticipated milestone in his solo career.

The tour will kick off with a three-night residency at Seoul’s KSPO Dome from February 28, 2025 to March 2, 2025, with the performances streamed live to global fans. J-Hope will then cross continents, with stops in major cities in North America and Asia. While exact details for the US leg are still pending due to the wildfires in California, Big Hit Music confirmed a robust itinerary of 31 shows in 15 cities, including Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, Manila and Singapore.

The title Hope on stage reflects more than J-Hope’s dynamic presence. According to Big Hit Music, it embodies his ambitions, dreams and heartfelt messages to fans delivered through his performances. The agency has promised a diverse set list, with live debuts of songs from J-Hope’s EP Hope on the Street Vol. 1a project deeply connected to his artistic origins.

Fans can also look forward to surprises, as J-Hope teased new music slated for release in March 2025. A short YouTube video titled The beginning of a new dream gave a sneak peek of what’s to come – a laid-back track with soulful grooves and cool vocals. It will mark his first musical release since his 2024 EP, which included collaborations with Jungkook, Benny Blanco, Nile Rodgers and Le Sserafim’s Huh Yunjin.

J-Hope’s solo endeavors come amid BTS’ temporary hiatus as the group’s members focus on individual projects and military service obligations. His debut solo album 2022, Jack in the Boxand subsequent EP, Hope on the Street Vol. 1showed off his versatility as an artist. The Hope on stage tour, along with his upcoming music, marks a new chapter not only for J-Hope, but also for BTS fans who are eager to see their favorite members explore their individual creative paths.
