Jacksonville Jaguars hired his very first draft Pick, Hall of Fame -offensive Lineman Tony Boselli, as CEO of the business on Monday.
Boselli will report directly to the owner Shad Khan together with the new head coach Liam Coen and the manager, who has not yet been hired. The trio will “form a football leader that will collaborate and adapt to all major football decisions, develop a long -term strategy to have success in the field and give advice to the team owner,” according to a law publishing.
“My job is not to be in front; my job is to help Liam Coen, his staff and the new GM to have success,” Boselli said. “That’s all I want to do. That’s all I care about. It’s focused on Liam. I will make sure that Liam and the staff he has and the players he brings with have the ultimate success.”
Khan said last week that he intends to have a GM in place at the end of February.
Boselli was introduced in the Hall of Fame 2022, the first member of the Jacksonville franchise to serve the honor. He was elected No. 2 in total by Jaguars in 1995, Franchiset’s first draft draft, which made five Pro Bowls and three all-PRO awards for seven seasons.
