Jacksonville Jaguars practiced his fifth -year option on pass Rusher and earlier No. 1 Overall picking Travon Walker, reported NFL Network Monday.
Walker, 24, enters the fourth season of its Rookie contract and will earn $ 1.1 million in base salary in 2025 with a $ 4.7 million roster bonus.
Jags has started “open conversations” with Walker at a long -term business, said new head coach Liam Coen last week at the owner meetings.
Walker has 24 bags, 44 quarterback hits, three forced fumbles and 28 tackles for loss in 49 matches (48 starts) since Jags chose him No. 1 in total in the draft 2022.
