Jayden Epps scored 20 points and dropped the winning arrangement with five seconds left when Georgetown beat Villanova 75-73 on Tuesday in Washington.
Micah Peavy hit five 3 points and got 19 points and Jordan Burks had 14 points when Georgetown (17-13, 8-11 Big East) swept Wildcats in a two-game regular seasonal series for the first time since 1992-93.
Eric Dixon scored 24 points-all during the second half-when Villanova (18-13, 11-9) ended the regular season. Jordan Longino added 17 points when Wildcats lost on Georgetown for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
Georgetown, which made 14 of 31 3-point attempts (45.2 percent), ended the match on a 15-4 run after releasing 69-60 with 3:43 left after a Enoch Boakye Dunk. Hoyas went on a 7-0 driving to close within 69-67 on a Drew Fielder Dunk.

The game was tied to 29 at half.
Dixon, entered Tuesday after Back-to-Back 30-Plus score play, finished 8 out of 19 from the field.
Georgetown won the first meeting 64-63 on January 14 at Villanova’s campus.
