The Emmy-nominated star of Air hostess and Big Bang theory have been dropped to lead MissingA new thriller series that is ready to make waves on this year’s Mania TV market in Lille, France.
A sharp pivot back to high efforts, Missing Follows Alice (Kaley Cuoco), whose idyllic romantic getaway is released into a nightmare after her boyfriend Tom (played by Topblinds Star Sam Claflin) mysteriously disappears aboard a train. What begins as a missing person’s case quickly spirals into a layered web of secrets, danger and fraud – a landscape Cuoco has navigated with increasing shade in the latest roles.
The series generates early buzzing, not only for its leading duo, but for its impressive international role. Behind the camera is a director and producer Barnaby Thompson (Pixie), with filming that will start April 28 in Paris and Marseilles.
