Las Vegas is known for its dazzling casinos, world -class entertainment and luxury at the top. But experienced Vegas visitors know that some of the best bets in town are not on the game floor – they are pools.
March is the unofficial start of the Las Vegas pool season, with many casino varieties that open their pool tires in the middle to the end of March, depending on the weather.
What was once only a place to cool down between rounds at the Blackjack table has developed into its own multimillion dollars. Today, Las Vegas Casino Pool’s destinations are for themselves, everything from high -energy day clubs with world -famous DJs to calm, palm -lined retreat that knows worlds away from the strip.
Some pools meet families with lazy rivers and splash zones, while others attract HIG rolls willing to release thousands of dollars on a private Cabana filled with top shelf and named Waitstaff.
There are over 20 casinos on the strip with pools, while four casinos in the center have pools.
The largest pool complex on the strip is at Mandalay Bay Hotel casino. The plant’s pool complex extends over 11.5 acres and has a 1.6 million gallon wave pool, lazy river and a beach area with over 2,700 tonnes of white sand.
At the other end of the strip, Resorts World Hotel casino is home to a 5.5 acre large pool complex which has seven distinct pool areas, including Ayu Dayclub. Across the strip is Fontainebleau Hotel casino, which has the city’s latest pool complex, with seven different pools over a 6 acre area.
The GO pool at Flamingo Hotel casino is undergoing a $ 20 million renovation. The 21-and-older pool is expected to open in April.
The Fortuna pool at Caesars Palace Hotel casino is one of the few on the strip that offers faint blackjack tables. Other resorts, such as Golden Nugget (Centrum) and Red Rock (Summerlin), have the pool at the day.
Stadium Swim at Circa Hotel casino is the largest resort pool in central Las Vegas. It has six pools on several levels below a 40 -foot high video screen. Stadium Swim can accommodate almost 4,000 people, according to the Casino website.
Outside the strip, Kassi Beach Club at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is a Mediterranean -inspired pool that is linked to the popular Kassi Beach House.
Several Las Vegas casino pools allow non-Hotel guests. A fee or daybed/cabana rent may be required. MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood, Golden Nugget, Circa and Flamingo are among the most remarkable properties that allow guests who are not Hotel to access their pools.
Most Las Vegas-Casino pools are closed before the sun goes down, usually around 18.00 Check with the specific property for current operating hours.
Boulevard pool at Cosmopolitan Hotel casino hosts summer movie nights, where hotel guests (free) and non-hotel guests ($ 15 entry) can both take a dip and enjoy a show with the strip in the background.
