Lebron james’ buzzer-beating tip-in lifts the Lakers over pacers

Lebron James tipped in the winning arrangement as the time went out and gave the visiting Los Angeles Lakers a victory 120-119 over Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis on Wednesday.

James, who did not join a field goal until the fourth quarter, finished with 13 points, 13 returns and seven assists for Lakers (44-28), who snapped a three-game losing line.

After walking with five minutes left, Los Angeles went on an 11-2 run that was stamped with a triple by Rui Hachimura with 1:51 left. The pacers then took the lead with seven straight points, including a Tyrese haliburton three-point game to take an 119-118 edge with 42 seconds left.

After Bennedict Mathurin missed a 3-pointer, Luka Doncic’s Floater missed James at the Summer.

Doncic had 34 points, seven boards and seven assists for Los Angeles, while Austin Reaves got 24 and Hachimura added 14.

Indiana (42-30) was led by Mathurin’s 23 points from the bench and Haliburton’s 16 points and 18 assists. Myles Turner contributed 16 points and 12 returns for Indiana, who had his five-game winning line ended, and Andrew Nembhard finished with 16 points.

After following 13 at half -time, Indiana trimmed the deficit to seven on Turner’s triple. Doncic’s arrangement later drove Lakers’s lead to 83-73, but a 13-5 Pacers Spurt was covered with triple from Mathurin and Aaron Nesmith to pull Indiana within two.

Nembhard’s basket on Indiana’s last possession sent Pacers to the last quarter with a deficit of 95-92.

James’ first two field goals came on trips in a row at the beginning of the fourth, with his second basket forcing an Indiana-Timeout down 101-92. James then continued his driving with another four points before Mathurin got eight as part of Indiana 13-0 driving and binds the game at 105 on the 6: 05 brand.

Just over a minute later, Turner’s TRIY PACERS gave its first lead since the opening minute for the second quarter.

Indiana took the lead 33-28 into the second quarter, but the Lakers opened the other on a 15-0 driving. Nembhard’s three-point game stopped the bleeding for Indiana, but Reaves then got 10 of Lakers next 12 points, which helped give Los Angeles a 55-43 edge with less than five minutes left in the first half.

Mathurin got Pacer’s last six points in the first half, but Jaxson Hayes’ Dunk with 11 seconds left gave the Lakers a 68-55 half-time lead.
