Fans of Lucy Spaggan are in for a real treatment this week, with the beloved British singer/songwriter Rush releasing his last single ‘Unscrubable’ In addition to announcing details of its upcoming eighth studio album ‘Other pages of the moon’.
After an incredible and unexpected synchronization for ‘Unscrubable’ on Saturday’s Britain has talentLucy has released the track after it was presented as part of Montage after an audition of the choir consisting of those affected by the post office scandal.
BGT -Judge, and close friend of Lucy’s Simon Cowell, called her after the show to tell her the news and ask her if she had seen it … Look at the couple’s conversation below:
The spray comments on the surprise and says: “Some of you may have seen the incredible audition of the Post Office Scandal Choir at BGT last night, it was extremely emotionally. It became more emotionally for me as the brand new reworked version of ‘Unscrubable’ Played when the judges considered and the choir was celebrated. This was a bit (very) surprise that was conspired by the wonderful Simon Cowell who called me immediately afterwards to ask if I had seen it. I said “Of course, I and everyone call and text to say how amazing the audition was and that they heard my song!” I said too “I want to get hold of this opportunity at the horns and think I should release” unthinkable “tonight …” So, ‘Unscrubable’ Is out now! A massive congratulations to the post office choir, what an incredible story. “
Of the song itself Lucy adds: “Originally released in 2015, ‘Unscrubable’ Has been a vibrant favorite and part of each set list for over a decade. I wrote this song during an attack of depression, when it always felt like it was raining wherever I went. I had this vision that the rain continued and became so deep that it could drown me and wanted to write something to remind myself and others about the resilience we all carry with us. This song has been transformed into the new album, and in some ways I feel that I have transformed with it. For me, rather than representing the dark days it represents hope. “
