After a 15-month hiatus, British pop power plant Mae Muller awaken in a refreshing honest and bold new era today (March 21) with the disclosure of its brand new single ‘Breakaway’.
Written by mae and produced by Henrik Michelsen (Maisie Peters)the self -insured track finds ‘Better days’ Singer on her most vulnerable, leaves the past and embraces new beginning, as she explores themes about love and loss to produce a truly related pop masterpiece.
Mae comments on the intospective track and says: “I wrote ‘Breakaway’ At a time when I felt quite lost as an artist, I put so much pressure on myself with my newfound independence, that after a while I just decided to get into the studio and pour everything out and what I ended up with, at least it would be a weight from my chest. “
“It was June 13 last year and has stopped being one of my favorite songs that I have ever written and the beginning of this new era. It is about navigating vulnerability, but also finding my power within it, while not losing the joy on the road.”
