Memphis Guard Tyrese Hunter has been excluded from Sunday’s American Athletic Conference Tournament Title Game Kontra UAB with a left foot injury, coach Penny Hardaway announced.

Baraka Okojie will start with Tigers instead of Hunter, which on average was 13.7 points, 3.8 returns, 3.6 assists and 1.5 steals in 32 games (all starts) this season.

Okojie has contributed 1.4 points and 1.2 boards, while an average of 10.2 minutes per match this season for No. 16 Memphis.

The tigers (28-5) are the top seed in the tournament and fled with a one-point victory over the fourth-seeded Tulane on Saturday afternoon.

Blazers (22-11) is the third seed and reached the conference’s title game after beating second-seeded North Texas in the second semi-final on Saturday.
