MLB Over/Under Bet: Seattle Mariners vs. San Francisco Giants, April 5

An uneven evening for both start buttons made devastation on yesterday’s bet – of which some were not their faults. We will try again in the next game, this one in San Francisco.

Giants hosted Seattle Mariners for his home opener yesterday in what turned out to be a wild deal. The score was knotted 8-8 even before the seventh inning and finally spilled in extra, where the residents of the Bay area would hinder a deficit on a run at the bottom of the 11th. Robie Ray gets the ball to his second start of his second campaign with Giants. Last year Ray was return from Tommy John Surgery and did so with San Francisco after his former club – tonight’s opponent – traded him in January 2024. Veteran Southpaw continued to make seven starts, and while producing an Underwhelming 4.70 era, the second statistics were enough positive to think that he could think of his old form.

In these seven games, Ray recorded 12.6 strikes per nine rounds (albeit with 4.4 walks per nine) and limited opposite strokes to an average of .189. He also had a 3.72 expected era.

Spring training was very encouraging for the 2021 American League Cy Young Award winner, and logged a 1.86 era, 0.62 Whip, .157 Slag average against and 10.7 k/9 in 19 1/3 rounds.

Ray’s season debut came last Sunday in Cincinnati and turned out pretty well, even serving a victory. The only problem was that his three hits allowed, two went for Homers. But it can always be a product of starting a game on hitters -friendly Great American Ball Park.

The website for tonight’s excursion, Oracle Park, is one of the best Kantnarkari in the league, and Ray will be given a mission opposite his ex-friends, which was the worst set in baseball against left-hander a year ago.
