NBA Roundup: Damian Lillards 43 forces Bucks past Sixers

Damian Lillard scored a season high 43 points to lead Milwauke Bucks to a victory 135-127 over the visiting Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday afternoon.

Lillard added seven returns and eight assists for Milwaukee, who played without all-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo (strained left calf). Six second dollars received points in double figures, led by 23 from the Gary Trent Jr. Reserve, who shot 7-AV-15 from 3-point intervals.

Lillard went 8-AV-15 from a distance when Milwaukee made a season high 24 3-score of 55 trials (43.6 percent).

Tyrese Maxey led Philadelphia with 39 points and Joel Embiid collected 27 points with 12 returns and six assists. Guerschon Yabusele added 18 points, while Paul George contributed 12 points, six assists and three steals.

Pistons 112, Hornets 102

Cade Cunningham recorded a triple double with 19 points, 12 assists and 10 returns and Detroit never hit while serving a victory to visit Charlotte.

Tobias Harris had 20 points and Malik Beasley delivered 17 when Pistons won his second straight match after two losses in a row. Jalen Duren took up 16 points, 12 returns and six assists.

Miles Bridges led Hornets with 30 points and nine returns. Seth Curry delivered 26 points and Isaiah Wong threw in 17. Charlotte was without Lamelo Ball (ankle).

Rockets 94, Raptors 87

Dillon Brooks scored a team high 19 points, Jalen Green added 18 and the short hands Houston rode a strong performance from his reserves to a victory over visiting Toronto and snapping a six-game ski.

Already down four rotational players-peace Vanvleet, Jabari Smith Jr., Tari Eason and Steven Adams-learned Rockets All-Star Center Alperen Sengun to back Spasms at the 8: 44 mark for the first quarter. But the rockets published a 43-31 edge in bench points with reserves Jeff Green (season high 14 points), Jock Landale (11 points, 10 returns) and Cam Whitmore (11 points), all of which contribute to the cause.

Immanuel Quickley paired a match-high 20 points with eight returns while Scottie Barnes counted 15 points, nine returns and seven assists for Raptors. Rookie Jamal Shead added 14 points from the bench.
