Team adjusts drafts of boards and player ranking in positions after the future prospects were measured, timed, weighed and underwent medical reviews, together with conducting interviews with the NFL team at 2025 NFL Scouting Combine.
There were big winners from the event – Missour -Offensive Tackling Armand Membou, Virginia Tech who drives back Bhayshul Tuten, South Carolina Safety Nick Emmanwori and Texas Breda receiver Matthew Golden. Then it was those who returned home with more to prove.
Let’s take a look at the players who sent Speider back to the feature film for the wrong reason. Most of them have a day on campus to make another type of statement.
QB Will Howard, Ohio State
Howard had a large ten-best 35 touchdown pass and ranked sixth in FBS with more than 4,100 passed turns in its only season with Buckeyes. But at the combination, he showed inconsistent accuracy while threw to unknown wide recipients and runs a grid tree that he had not mastered.
The same goes for Ole Miss Quarterback Jaxson Dart, who answered more questions than most quarterbacks last week and had a strong throwing session and the Texas Quarterback Quinn Ewers.
Field level Media considered Howard as a potential sleeping cabin due to his narrow final size and mobility. On the feature film he sprinkled the ball over the defense and in front of the security level consistently and showed arm strength which suggested that he could be a top-50-prospectus.
Now his range seems closer to the middle of the fourth or fifth round after the combination.
Make no mistakes – some teams press the panic button on Howard. His delivery is not over the top, and his deep ball was very wrong. If he cannot deliver a better overall throw performance at Ohio State Pro Day on the March 26th of the script will be well worn and his recipient acquaintances His frame is wound up in close end instead of quarterback.
CB Will Johnson, Michigan

Johnson went from top-five conversation to potentially supported behind major artists on the position from the weekend. Texas Cornerback Jadhae Barron stood out with a 4.4-second 40-yard line and generated a lot of bucks, while Johnson is facing doubt.
He did not work at Combine, and his arm measurement of 30 1/8 inches raises questions if he fits better on nickel. He will still play for teams that shop for defensive backs in the top 20.
And Tyler Booker, Alabama

Anyone who thought it was left to tackle potential with Booker reverse course last week. There is still a chance that he could get work on the right tackle, but Booker (6-4 ½, 324) was a disappointment in athletic testing, which showed no concrete evidence of the explosive characteristics needed to reach a consistent all-pro or pro bowl level.
He ran a 5.38-second 40-yard with a 27-inch vertical and a 7-foot-10 wide jump. Comparatively, Membou registered a 9-foot-7 wide jump. Bookers test number is within an interval that can probably be improved with a few weeks of training. He could fall to the second round.
WR Tez Johnson, Oregon

Johnson looked short, small and slow for his position-a trio of potentially deadly deficiencies that could push him into a choice of late turns.
His production at Oregon was outside the lists, and he has winning features for a slot receiver on film, backed up by a 1.53-second split over his other 10 meters. Despite this, at £ 154, he must hope he does not take a direct one in the open field.
A 40-yard-dash time in 4.5-seconds range is a limit disaster when considering his overall measurable.
DT Mason Graham, Michigan

Listing Graham as a “falls” or rating his warehouse as “selling” would be too hard. Given that he is almost universally regarded as a top-10-prospective, we will not let the alarms yet.
But his weigh -in of £ 295 was an eye opener. Graham, a defensive tackle, now risks the “under -sized” label after teams believed that his listed college that played weight at 320 pounds was legitimate.
