Nikola Jokic (35), Jamal Murray (34) Lift Nuggets over thunder

Nikola Jokic made 35 and Jamal Murray added 34 to lift Denver Nuggets to a 140-127 road victory over Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday.

The result snapped a seven-game winning line for Thunder and gave Nuggets a tie in the season series, with each team that won two matches.

On Sunday, Thunder received a 127-103 home victory over Denver.

Nugget’s 140 points were bound for the most given by Oklahoma City this season. It was Denver seventh match with 140 or more points.

The tide turned in the third quarter, when Nuggets deleted a nine-point deficit to take a lead of 101-99 on the way into the fourth.

Murray scored 11 of his points in the third when Denver put up 34 points in the frame.

Nuggets poured it into the fourth, outsource Oklahoma City 39-28 and stretched its lead as large as 16.

Oklahoma City has led the league in making turns a lot of the season, but during the fourth it was Denver who used sales on the other side and scored 10 points out of five thunderstorms.

Jokic had 10 points, four returns and three assists in the fourth.

He finished with 18 returns and eight assists, lacked narrowly what would have been his 30th triple-double of the season.

Early in the second quarter, Thunder All-Star Jalen Williams came down hard on the hip.

Williams stayed in the game for a few minutes before leaving the game in his normal place about halfway through the quarter.

But Williams quickly left the bench and walked towards the dressing room. He did not return with what the team called a right hip.

Luguentz Dort led Oklahoma City with 26 points, while Shai Gilgeous-Aleander added 25 points, seven assists and a couple of blocks.

Isaiah Hartenstein got 20 in the loss.

Thunder ahead Chet Holmgren, who played both ends of a back-to-back for the first time since he returned from missing almost three months due to a broken pelvis, shot only 3 out of 11 from the field, missing all five of his 3-point attempt.

Nuggets was without Aaron Gordon, who left the Sunday loss with a right calf injury and also handles a left ankle destruction.
