Denver Nuggets Swingman Peyton Watson will be on the side with at least four weeks with a knee destruction.
The team said on Monday that Watson was hit by the injury in Friday’s victory in Philadelphia. He missed Saturday’s three -point victory at Charlotte. He will be evaluated in four weeks, the team said.
Watson, 22, is on average a career best 8.1 points and 3.4 returns in 48 matches (12 starts) this season. He is on average one career high 24.1 minutes per match.
Nuggets acquired Watson in a trading of draft night with Oklahoma City in June 2022. He was elected No. 30 in total in the draft.
