Parrish, who got a career heap 30 points Sunday against Nebraska, had 14 points during the first half. Buckeyes (15-10, 7-7 Big Ten) shot 58.2 percent (32 out of 55) in total from the field, which made 61.1 percent (11 out of 18) of its 3 points.

Bruce Thornton added 17 points and Aaron Bradshaw 12 when Ohio State published his fifth victory in seven matches.

Tyler Harris, Vazouna Diallo and DJ Davis each had 14 points for Washington (12-12, 3-10 Big Ten), who had won two of three after a six-game losing line.

Buckeyes shot 66.7 percent (20 out of 30) during the first half despite missing their last two shots after making 10 in a row. They also made 66.7 percent (8 out of 12) of their 3-points but were 3 out of 6 from the free throw line, otherwise 51-36 could have been greater.

Ohio State removed the game early and extended a 16-13 lead to 29-17 on a 3-point of Mobley with nine minutes left in half. Buckeyes scored 5 out of 7 field goals during driving but had an even warmer distance when they made six in a row to get up 39-26.

Parrish then made 8 for 8 with a 3-pointer and arrangement, was fouled on both attempts and made two free throw. Mobley drilled a 3 and Parrish hit a jumper before finishing the streak with a missed 3-pointer.

The Ohio State Guard Devin Royal (13.7 points per match, 7.4 returns) was listed as doubtful after suffering from a leg injury during the loss to Nebraska, but he started and received four of Buckeye’s first six points in a couple of arrangements. He had eight points and four returns in 26 minutes.

Washington Guard Luis Kortright missed a second straight game while serving an indefinite suspension so as not to fulfill program standards, according to a university’s spokesman.
