Penn & Teller reveals new casino games on Rio | Kats | Entertainment

Pen & Greve Always say, somehow “It’s hard.” They once played in a video that trumped that message. And the trick they performed in the clip has resurrected, on a Las Vegas casino floor.

P&T is the first celebrities to be noticed on a casino table game, on their long -term residence, Rio. The new game is formally called Penn & Teller Casino Monte.

“It’s a nutty thing,” Penn Jillette said during the game’s disclosure at Rio on March 3. “I didn’t even understand what they meant when they said they did.”

What this means is that the hotel wants to make money in the casino and sell tickets to Penn & Teller.

The magicians celebrate their 50th year as a performing duo, the last 24 at Rio. The table game is based on three short Monte. It is a famous con-act, where a dealer places three cards (often on a turn-over bucket) and appoints one as the “money” card.

The dealer mixes the three quickly, and the player tries to track the card and guess which of the three is the card he chose. Through the SLICK-SLEIGHIGHT-HANS BRINGS (stops short hypnosis), the dealer wins.

Penn & Teller brought three short Monte to the masses in Run-DMC’s video for “It’s Travy” in 1987. Jillette convinced producer Rick Rubin, who sought the then duo for the video, to include the trick.

“We basically wrote the video,” said Jillette, “But not the song.”

This is not the first time P&T has been noticed at Rio.

In September 2017, the Magic Team was presented at the Casino Slot Machines. Jillette won a jackpot of $ 786.70 in that disclosure. “Magical Win” was the machine’s message. That campaign lasted for about seven years.

Casino Monte will be tested during the summer. As Rio’s president and CEO Patrick Miller put it, “we have it for a few months. Hopefully it does well and it will be permanent. “

It is the way for Penn & Teller’s residence at the theater, where they are the longest headliners who ever play a single place. We will see P&T perform at any time, but we forward this game. We know them too well.
