Shortstop Trea Turner is outside the starting lineup for the second straight game when the visiting Philadelphia Phillies ends their three-game series against Washington Nationals on Sunday afternoon.
Turner was scraped from Phillies ’11 -6 victory over citizens on Saturday with a rear spas.
Catcher JT Realmuto Fouled A ball from his left foot in that game and went out in the seventh round. -rays came back negative for Realmuto, which is also out of the set for Sunday’s series finale.
Edmundo Sosa will get its second straight start on card stops and bats sixth in the lineup, while Rafael Marchan will be behind the plate and Bat Ninde for Philadelphia on Sunday.
Phillies won the first two games in the series and will send the veteran’s right -hander Aaron Nola to Haugen to try to complete a sweep. He will oppose the left hand Mitchell Parker, which begins his second season in Majors.
