Nashville Predator’s head coach Andrew Brunette is away from the team while raising personal questions.
Assistant coach Todd Richards led the team’s activity on the ice during Saturday’s exercise.
Tennessean reported that Richards would handle head training responsibility on Sunday if Brunette could not participate in Nashville’s home game against the Montreal Canadiens.
Brunette, 51, has guided the predators to a 27-41-8 record this season.
Brunette is a finalist for the Jack Adams Award 2024 and owns a coaching record of 125-89-19 with Florida Panthers (2021-22) and predators.
