Nashville Predators held forward Gustav Nyquist from his game against the New York Islanders host on Saturday afternoon due to “Trade -related reasons.”
The Minnesota Wild and Los Angeles Kings are reportedly potential landing sites for Nyquist, which plays during the last season of a two -year, $ 6.37 million contract.
On Saturday, the predators also placed Roman Josi placed on damaged reserve. The Norris Trophy Trophy receiver 2019-20 is considered week to week with an upper body injury.
Nyquist, 35, has a total of 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists) in 57 matches this season.

The predators also recalled forward Jake Lucchini and defender Spencer Stastney from Milwaukee from American Hockey League.
