Texas Rangers agreed on a year’s contract with leftist Patrick Corbin on Tuesday, with the New York Post reporting that the contract is worth only more than $ 1 million plus incentive.
To make a seat on the 40-man list, Texas placed his right hand Jon Gray on the 60-day injured list with a right forearm fracture.
Corbin, 35, went 6-13 with a 5.62 era in 32 starts for Washington Nationals last season to complete a six-year, $ 140 million contract.
During 12 large league seasons, Corbin has gone 103-131 with a 4.51 era in 342 excursions (324 starts) for Arizona Diamondbacks (2012-18) and citizens. The twice All-Star ended as high as the fifth in the National League Cy Young Award vote 2018.
Corbin was the winning jug in the crucial Game 7 in the World Series 2019 when Nationals came past Houston Astros to win Franchise’s only title.
