Emil Forsberg and New York Red Bulls will look to continue their strong level of play as they visit the New England Revolution on Saturday afternoon in Foxborough, Mass.

Red Bulls (2-1-2; 8 points) responded to a season opening loss by collecting at least one point in each of their last four matches. They published their second victory in that route with a 2-1 victory over Toronto FC last Saturday in Harrison, NJ

Forsberg, New York’s captain, scored both goals for his team in that match to increase their club -leading sum to three in the season.

“We have fun together, work hard and push to improve every game,” said the Swedish international. “After last season we knew we had to do more, and I think we do. Every game, every day we get better, especially in the attacking half.”

Although they were probably satisfied with the latest results, Red Bull’s head coach Sandro Schwarz expressed concern about the peat at Gillette Stadium.

“We have to be careful,” Schwarz said. “Not just the peat, also our load, with some national players in the last ten days.”

New York midfielder Felipe Carballo will sit out against New England after picking up a late red card in last Saturday’s victory.

The revolution (0-3-1, 1 point) has been inactive since he released a 2-1 decision to New York City FC on March 15. New England also has only one goal for its credit, and it was with the permission of its own goal versus NYCFC.

“We have to continue fighting and we have to win the next match. It’s so simple,” said Revolution coach Caleb Porter. “So it’s good to have a couple of weeks just to work with certain things and make sure we have the right guys in the lineup in this game, guys who will fight.”

New England was able to get a lift from defender Peyton Miller, a 17-year-old home-grown product from Connecticut. Miller has worked his way back from a groin injury that suffered during the season.

The team shared their two matches last season, with the websites that grow victorious.
