BBC has announced that country-pop-trio Remember Monday will represent the UK at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland in May 2025 with his song ‘What the hell just happened?’ – A positive pop track full of energy, excitement and drama.
Co -written by the girls along with Tom Hollings and Brennan himself Alias British production duo ButtocksThe Thomas Stengaard and Julie ‘Kill J’ AagaardThe infectious song chronicle of the aftermath of a fun night out with friends while showing the band “Humor, re -latability and their signature harmonies”.

Consists of Charlotte, Holly and Lauren, Remember Monday is a group of best friends who have gained a reputation for their “Strong song and perfectly mixed harmonies”.
The trio is well known for its viral hits for social media in addition to their unique brand of uplifting pop and has released two EPs and twelve singles focusing on their epic three -way harmonies and smart, cordial and authentic songwriting.
At TikTok, the trio has collected 11.3 million likes and more than half a million dedicated followers, with audiences who love their expert created, lighter acapella -reproduction of songs by a variety of singers, including Wicked, Sabrina Carpenter, Queen and Shania Twain.
Friends since they met in the sixth form in 2013 are the regular guests at the Music Festival Circuit, and last year played their first Sellout tour across the UK. In addition, the girls have an individual impressive musical theater background, and before their decision to end their day jobs and become full -time band members in 2023, they have appeared in musical theater productions that include West End productions of The miserable one and The phantom of the opera (Holly), Mary Poppins (Charlotte) and Matilda (Lauren), which also had a lead role in the nationwide tour in Six musical.
The band confirmed their bid for Eurovision when they showed up as guests at Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.
In a joint statement, the members of Remember Monday said about their Eurovision selection: “What the hell just happened is exactly how we feel right now! Everything is very surreal; Our friendship goes so far back, and we definitely never imagined that we would do anything like it. The 69th Eurovision Song competition will be held in Basel, Switzerland after Nemo’s Victory in the Grand Finals in May 2024 with its song ‘Code’.
The big final in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place in St. Jakobshalle, Basel, on Saturday, May 17 with the semi -finals which took place on Tuesday 13 and Thursday 15 May. The Grand Final and the semi -finals will be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC Iplayer Plus via BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.
