Report: Formerly LSU WR Kyren Lacy dies at 24

Former LSU -wide recipient Kyren Lacy has passed away in Houston at the age of 24, reported Baton Rouge TV station WAFB on Sunday.

The report, confirmed by a family member, comes 11 days before Lacy hoped to be picked in the NFL draft.

Lacy faced negligent murder, criminal and ruthless operation of a vehicle fee related to a car accident in Chackbay, La., December 17, 2024, who killed a 78-year-old man. He turned himself the following month and was prison of $ 151,000 in the castle.

WAFB reported that a grand jury was scheduled to hear evidence in the Lacy case from Monday.

Lacy took 58 passes for 866 meters and shared the Southeastern Conference Lead with nine touchdown receptions in 12 matches in 2024.

He ended his collegial career with 162 catches for 2,360 meters and 26 TD in 64 matches with Louisiana (2020-21) and LSU (2022-24).
