Report: Jets gives Wr Allen Lazard permission to search trade

The New York Jet’s broad recipient Allen Lazard (10) and his teammates celebrate a touchdown pass, Sunday January 5, 2025, in East Rutherford.

The broad receiver Allen Lazard has been granted the New York Jets permission to seek a trade, reported ESPN Tuesday.

Although he has granted this condition, Jets is reportedly also open for Lazard returning to the team.

Lazard joins Former Green Bay Packers teammates Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams as players who seem to be on their way out of New York.

Lazard joined Jets for the 2023 season when Rodgers came on board, and Adams was acquired by Jets from Las Vegas Raiders in October 2024. All three played for Packers from 2018-21; Rodgers and Adams played together in Green Bay from 2014-21, and Lazard played with Rodgers as a Packer during the 2022 season.

Jets informed Rodgers, 41, last month that they moved in a different direction after two disappointing seasons.

Adams, 32, was reportedly informed by Jets Monday that they measure his commercial market. If no business develops, the team is expected to release the veteran broad recipient as part of a broad restart of the crime.

Lazard, 29, has 229 receptions for 3,077 meters and 27 touchdowns in 83 matches (62 starts) with packers and jets. He signed with Packers as an uninhibited free agent 2018.
