Former Uconn star Paige Buecker’s signs a three-year agreement with the unmatched 3-on-3 league, reported ESPN.
Bueckers, which is expected to be the number 1 choice in the WNBA draft on Monday, signed a name, picture and equality agreement with unmatched last year that gave her equity in the new league.
The 6-foot All-America guard stands to make significantly more money every year during the 10-week unmatched season than she will do at her four-year WNBA Rookie deal.
The average salary in the initial unmatched season in 2025 was more than $ 220,000. As the overall election in the WNBA draft, Bueckers will earn about $ 80,000 during its first season, according to the league’s collective negotiation agreement.
Bueckers, 23, was an average of 19.9 points, 4.6 assists and 4.4 returns in 38 matches 2024-25 and led Huskies (37-3) to its first national championship since 2016.
