New England Patriots have fields several trading surveys for Quarterback Joe Milton III, reported Masslive.com Wednesday.

A source near the 25-year-old former sixth round said that Milton would prefer to be on a list where he can compete for the starting job rather than serving as one of Drake Maye’s backups in New England.

The patriots also have Josh Dobbs on the Quarterback depth after signing the veteran of a two -year, $ 8 million agreement last month.

Milton got the league’s attention in week 18 last season. When he made his NFL debut, the beginner completed 22 out of 29 passes of 241 meters and a touchdown in a 23-16 victory against Buffalo Bills on January 5.

The first year’s Patriot coach Mike Vrabel was asked on Monday at the NFL owner meetings that Milton was a potential trade supply.

“We will see as the draft approaches, or where Joe is April 7 to start our season program,” Vrabel said. “But you have to give Joe Kredit because you are ready to go, go from the third quarterbacken to be able to win that football match and keep you ready and remain hungry.”
