After he was almost the latest superstar who was moved during a wild NBA trade season, Phoenix Suns will end up forward Kevin Durant, reported ESPN just like Thursday’s trading deadline arrived.
The Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets were among the teams who reportedly made places for Durant for Thursday’s deadline.
Suns on Tuesday listed Durant who hesitant at his injury report for Wednesday’s road game against Oklahoma City Thunder just when trading rumors went up.
Warriors ended by acquiring Jimmy Butler from Miami Heat, with Durant who said he was not interested in returning to Bay Area anyway. Mavericks acquired Caleb Martin after landing Anthony Davis from Los Angeles Lakers in a blockbuster agreement for Luka Doncic.
Durant, 36, is a 15 o’clock All-Star and is 26 points away from becoming the eighth player in the NBA story to get 30,000 career points.
Durant has an average of 26.9 points with 6.1 returns and 4.2 assists in 39 matches this season. During 17 seasons with Seattle Supersonics/Oklahoma City Thunder (2007-16), Warriors (2016-19), Brooklyn Nets (2020-23) and Suns, Durant has an average of 27.2 points with 7.0 returns and 4.4 Assists per match.
