It seems like Hörbacken Jalen Ramsey’s time because a Miami Dolphin can come to an end.

The dolphins and Ramsey have mutually agreed to explore trading options, according to reports.

The dolphins extended Ramsey’s contract this spring. Spotrac reported Ramsey’s contract has $ 91.8 for four years left, including a guaranteed $ 21.5 million until 2025.

Ramsey, 30, came to Miami after the 2022 season in an agreement with Los Angeles Rams for a third round and narrow end -hunter long. Ramsey missed the first seven matches that season with a knee injury, but he still did Pro Bowl for the seventh time.

After the 2022 season, Ramsey agreed with a three -year extension of three years, $ 72.3 million that made him the league’s highest paid Cornerback, a designation since was removed (Texans CB Derek Stingley Jr. makes $ 30 million annually on its new contract of $ 90 million).

Ramsey is currently due to $ 25.1 million, but a new team would only have to pay him $ 21.1 million this season. This is because the dolphins have already paid Ramsey’s roster bonus of $ 4 million.

A fixed deadline for an agreement does not exist, reported NFL Network Tuesday, but Miami is motivated to do a deal before the 2025 NFL draft on April 24. Dolphin’s general manager Chris Grier and head coach Mike McDaniel could use the draft to rise their rankings. Miami has no. 13 overall elections and has nine additional elections.
