Duke -guard Tyrese Proctor will sit out against visiting Florida State on Saturday night due to a leg mark on the knee, several media reported.
Proctor suffered from the injury during the first half of the second ranked Blue Devils ’97 -60 victory on Miami on Tuesday.
Isaiah Evans started the second half instead of Proctor, which on average is 11.8 points per match and shot 40.8 percent from 3-point interval.
Evans made five 3 points during the first half Tuesday. During the last three games, he is an average of 16.7 points and has shot 13-for-19 on 3-points.
“Isaiah has established himself with what he has done,” said Duke head coach Jon Scheyer. “It’s easy to talk about shooting. His defense has been outside the lists. He watches the ball as well as anyone.”
Blue Devils (25-3, 16-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) has won five in a row on the way into Saturday’s game against Florida State (16-12, 7-10) in Durham, NC
