Free agent broad recipient Stefon Diggs visits with New England Patriots, several stores reported.
Diggs, 31, had dinner with team staff on Wednesday evening with plans for meetings and a physical on Thursday.
The medical examination will be critical as the four o’clock Pro Bowl widening will return from a broken right ACL.
This is the first known visit for Diggs since the official start of the free agency on March 12.
Diggs took 47 passes for 496 meters and three touchdowns in eight starts for Houston Texans in 2024 before suffering from the knee injuries in week 8.
He spent the four previous campaigns with New England AFC East Rival Buffalo, made Pro Bowl and topped 100 catches and 1,000 receiving farms in all four seasons (2020-23) with the bills.
Diggs has 857 receptions for 10 491 meters and 70 touchdowns in 144 career games (136 starts) with Minnesota Vikings (2015-19), Bills and Texans. The Vikings prepared him in the fifth round in 2015.
