If you notice Resorts World Las Vegas light on the Las Vegas strip, don’t be worried.
The casino resort turns off the lamps on its LED screens, logo and markings from 20:30 to 21:30 on Saturday to honor the World Wildlife Funds Earth Hour movement, which aims to “increase awareness and support for the planet in the light of climate change,” said Resorts World.
The facility counted down to the light shutdown with a 60-second video on the West Tower LED screen.
Safety -related lighting and internal lighting are not affected by the light shutdown, says the casino.
