Buffalo Sabers has been on a role of late and will look to keep it going when they start a three-game trip with a visit to the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.

After losing six straight (0-5-1) from February 27 to March 8, Sabers (30-35-6, 66 points) has turned the switch with a 6-3-0 driving that started March 10. It is a stretch that includes winnings against Edmonton Oilers, Vegas Golden Knights, Winnipeg Jets and Ottawa Senators-All Playoff-Playoffer-All Playoff bindings found on Friday flats.

Sabers participates in the competition against Flyers in a winning line with three games after sending the Pittsburgh Penguin’s 7-3 on Thursday and chased the starter Tristan Jarry after the fourth goal.

Outside the victory against Pittsburgh, the others have been tight games. And when Buffalo has come out to a lead, it has been securing the victory, unlike earlier this season.

“I think a little maturity,” said ahead Tage Thompson. “I think there is something that has got us in problems all year, whether I chase the goalkeepers. But when we got a lead this year, I think we just get a little too high on ourselves and start to get a little too relaxed and start floating pucks through the middle and trying to get sweet with it. …

“I think there is a new maturity in our game where everyone connects us when we have a leadership, everyone puts pucks in places there is no risk of getting back the other way, which means that they break out through all five.”

Saber’s captain Rasmus Dahlin, who will play his 500th NHL game Saturday, enjoys another star season. When he entered Friday, his 57 points (13 goals, 44 assists) were tied for the fourth most of a defender in the NHL this season.

“When you think of a guy played 500 matches at 24 years old, it’s hard to really wrap your arms, really, when defense is the hardest position to play in this league as a young player,” said Buffalo coach Lindy Ruff.

In the meantime, Flyers will look like winning the following games for the first time since February 22-25. Philadelphia (29-36-9, 67 points) snapped a six-match losing line (0-5-1) on Thursday with a 6-4 victory against Montreal Canadiens in their first match during interim coach Brad Shaw after John Tortorella was fired the same morning.

“It’s a tough day when you go through something similar, but on the other side of it, pretty cool to see [Shaw] Be able to come in and get a win like it, “said ahead Travis Konecny.” It’s a mixture of emotions. We just have to continue. It is part of the business. “

It has been a miserable month in March for Flyers, who had a victory in 12 matches (1-10-1) from March 4-25 before Thursday and was outscored 52-22 during that route.

Defenseman Cam York is expected to have regular ice time again after dressing but not playing against Montreal due to a disciplinary issue. York also played only 3:50 in Philadelfia’s previous match against Toronto.

“I will say this: I take full responsibility for my actions,” York said. “It has been taken up here in the dressing room, and that is something I will put behind me and move on. We have eight matches left here, and that’s my focus right now.”
