A locals that are known to offer some of Las Vega’s best offers is to increase Ante on Mondays for those above a certain age.

South Point Hotel-Casino debuts 50+ Prime Time Mondays, a special campaign with exclusive benefits for guests 50 years and older.

Every Monday, eligible guests can go to movies for $ 4 (extra charge for 3D or XD) at South Point’s cinema on site. Cinemark Century 16 Theater at South Point also offers $ 4 movies for guests 50 and older (with a valid free club reward card) on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Free club card members over 50 years will receive half -point food and half -point bingo on Mondays. The food special excludes Baja Miguel’s and mainly Prime Rib, who are both closed Mondays.

Since the opening at the end of 2005, South Point has built a reputation for taking care of the locals and offering some of Las Vegas’s most favorable gaming conditions. The casino hotel is owned and operated by Michael Gaughan, whose sentenced father, Jackie, had an ownership in several gaming poles, including El Cortez Hotel casino in central Las Vegas.

Wheel of Fortune Video Poker debuts in central Las Vegas

Downtown Grand was the first casino in the world to offer IGT’s new Wheel of Fortune video game.

The machine combines elements in the popular Wheel of Fortune Slot Machine game with multi-hand video poker. Multi-Hand Poker Game is available in triple games, five-game and ten-game configurations and can assign players 30,000, 50,000 or 100,000 points and for a treated Royal Flush.

“Becoming the first casino in the world to offer IGT’s Wheel of Fortune Video Poker was an exciting moment for central Grand and one that generated tangible buzz and significant games on our game floor,” said Rick Coltor, Slots Manager in central Grand Las Vegas, in a press release. “For decades, our players have had IGT video poker and Wheel of Fortune slots, so combining DNA for these two products to create something new is an exciting proposal for our players.”

The game debuted on March 7. Since then, Wheel of Fortune Video Poker has been introduced at several casinos over Las Vegas. Distributions in additional markets are planned, according to the game’s manufacturers.

Chip guide turns 25

Chip guide, an online archive with more than 332,000 casino chips and collectibles from all over the world, turned 25 years old this month and continues to be a free resource for Memorabilia collectors.

Volunteers with the Casino Collectibles Association, led by the Museum of Gaming History, entertain the database with items from more than 32,000 casinos.

A personnel of 24 voluntary administrators evaluate and publish an average of about 200 grant updates every day – and with a permit each contributor is recognized on the site.

Nonprofit Association operates Memorabilia Kiosk screens in central Las Vegas’ El Cortez and Plaza Casinos as well as the National Museum for Organized Crime and Law Enforcement (Mob Museum) and National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas.

Plans are underway to expand the public’s access to the club’s historical artifacts, which include images of 69 categories of all kinds of memorabilia including match books, ashtray, room keys and postcards.

March in Macao

Macao continued its financial rebound in March and published higher gross gaming revenue than it did a year earlier.

Macao’s gaming inspection and coordination office earlier this month said that the special administrative region’s 51 casinos reported revenue of $ 2.46 billion (USA), an increase of 0.8 percent compared to March 2024’s total.

The total quarter of $ 7.2 billion is 0.6 percent higher than in the first quarter of 2024.
