Over the years the Croatian boss Ivan Juric built a reputation as an “Law saving“Over Europe’s top. But the season 2024-25 has marked a dramatic decline in his career. After his termination of South HammptonJuric has now been dismissed twice in just six months –cementing of its place among the worst managers in the Premier League history.
After choosing not to renew its contract with Torino 2023-24, Juric took over at AS Roma on September 18. But his time in the Italian capital was short -lived. After only 12 matches (4 wins, 3 draw, 5 losses) he was dismissed on November 12-only 53 days after his appointment.
Despite the rough magic formula, Juric quickly returned to the sideline. In December he was hired to revive a struggling Southampton page Sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table with only 6 points from 17 matches. Unfortunately, his first leadership outside Italy showed even more disastrous.
Unfortunately for both sides, the game did not pay off. Sunday’s loss of 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspur dropped Southampton to just 10 points to 31 matches, officially seal their relegation with seven matches left in the season—A Premier League Record for the earliest relocation.

The result triggered a clause in Jurić’s contract, leading to his immediate dismissal after only 108 days in charge. During his short stint, Juric succeeded only one victory and a draw in 14 league matches.
Juric sets unwanted Premier League record
Southampton’s return to Premier League 2024-25 came with a clear goal: Survival. But the club’s persistent fighters under Juric made them the first team in league history, which was mathematically moved with seven matches left.
With only four points collected in 14 league matches, Juric now has the lowest average for points per game (0.29) among all Premier League managers who have monitored 10 or more matches. The worst total brand – regardless of match bill – is doing Frank de Boer, who lost all four games with Crystal Palace during the 2017-18 season.
