Stars activate F Tyler Seguin (Hip) from Prolonged IR

Dallas Stars activated Center Tyler Seguin from long -term injured reserve before Wednesday’s regular season finale in Nashville.

Seguin, 33, underwent hip surgery on December 5 and has not played since December 1. He is considered a decision on playing time against predators.

The stars will meet Colorado Avalanche in the first round of the Stanley Cup finals.

Seguin collected 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) in 19 matches before the injury. The six-o’clock All-Star has registered 808 points (360 goals, 448 assists) in 988 career games with Boston Bruins (2010-13) and stars.

Seguin ends the sixth season of its eight -year -old, $ 78.8 million contracts with Dallas.
