Legendary Welsh rock bands Stereophonics Has today (30 January) announced details about their upcoming thirteenth studio album, “Let them laugh, make them cry, make them wait”Together with the launch of the projects leading single “There will always be something”.
Scheduled to release Friday 25 April 2025, via EmiLP acts as the follow -up to the 2022 -century “Oh!” and is available for pre -order now.
The group consists of 8 heavy tracks, each written and recorded in London, says the group that their latest offer is an album “Better of fat or filler”If it is hopeful and happy tone does what it says on the cover – “You laugh, you cry, you wait”.
As with previous album artwork, band frontman Kelly Jones Has gravitated against various art forms to influence the aesthetics of the project, whether it is paintings, books or movies. For “Let them laugh, make them cry, make them wait”It was a similar process, Kelly says: “I went to New York, I visited some galleries, I saw “Art is a guarantee of reason”a painting of Louise Bourgeois. She believed that art was a form of mental healing and a way to process difficult emotions. ”
“The spelling caught me first, then the simplicity of the words etched on a pink tile. So I tried to scrape my title, inspired by my own art school teacher thirty years ago. And I loved it. I loved the pink simplicity. The pink album was born ”.

Kelly comments on the track, says: “‘It will always be something’ is a song that can describe restlessness in uncertainty and struggles to arrive at acceptance. Some within us all. “

With its 2025 World Tour imminent – which has already seen them sell over 300,000 tickets – Stereophonics will play some of the biggest show so far, and cemented its position as one of the most lasting and beloved bands in our generation.
Planned to start in Montreal on March 21, the quartet will play additional show all over the United States and Europe throughout March, April and May, before arriving in the UK in June.
