Storm acquires G Lexie Brown from Sparks for Draft Valley

Seattle Storm acquired the guard Lexie Brown and a 2025 third round for two other rounds drafts.

In the trade, announced Friday, Sparks No. 21 received the total election in the WNBA draft 2025 in April, and Seattle’s choice of the second round in 2027.

Brown, 30, was No. 9 overall elections in the 2018 draft by Connecticut Sun and spent a season there. She went on to Minnesota Lynx (2019-20), Chicago Sky (2021) and Sparks.

She won the WNBA Championship for one year in Chicago.

Last season in Los Angeles, Brown appeared in 16 matches (eight starts), an average of 8.1 points and 3.3 assists in 16 matches (eight starts). Her best career year came in 2023, when she was on average 12.4 points per match and shot 41.5 percent from the three -point interval.

“We want to thank Lexie for everything she has done for Sparks and the Los Angeles community,” said Sparks General Manager Raegan Pebley. “She has invested a huge amount of her heart and soul. We wish Lexie success as she continues her career in Seattle.”

In 151 career games, Brown has an average of 6.3 points and 1.8 assists in 151 matches (48 starts).
