Three weeks and change stands between Tennessee Titans and the selection that kicks off the 2025 NFL draft in Green Bay.
A step card of the sign “Everything must go” is where the titans are in their decision -making process with the total election no.
In reality, the titans have already shown their cards.
There is still time for the New York Giants or New Orleans Saints to move to the driver’s seat. But if either franchise felt that the Titans were serious when it comes to moving the election, they would probably already hold the main choice in the 2025 prospectus.
General Manager Mike Borgonzi has made it clear – and has repeated since – Titans wants to gather as many choices in the top 100 of this draft as they can. It is a message about the quality at the top.
Cam Ward is a prize for a franchise without a starter on site like the Titans, but Tennessee’s needs go deep even after a significant feature of free agency. Borgonzi suggested at the NFL scouting combination that his board would be canceled – and probably remains with only minor changes – before players started training in Indianapolis.
If the Titans want Ward, they will set the sales price on the No. 1 choice as steep as possible. And if Browns, Giants, Saints or another team we are not considering deciding that Ward is the only blue-chip arm in the class, they will be willing to pay with a couple of first rounds and more to shop for the draft pilot site.
Withdrawal at this time last year, the bears were still public consideration for business and prospects that are not called Caleb Williams.
And the year before, Chicago Carolina Panthers swindled from No. 1 recipient DJ Moore and a bundle of draft that still pays dividends.
If Borgonzi gets the Godfather to offer and decide that a trade is in the best interest of the franchise, it will start a real -time stress test for the new hacking order in Nashville.
Borgonzi once worked with Bears General Manager Ryan Poles in Kansas City and has 15 years under his belt, but he was hired as a first time GM with a multi-layer’s reporting structure in staff who try to intertwine input from head coach Brian Callahan and the best football development on the flow schedule, chadbrinker. Brinker is chairman of football operations, a resounding higher than Borgonzi, and they will both need a signature from checking the owner Amy Adams Stunk. Stunk already started Mike Vrabel and GM drove Carthon during successive seasons and trends to enter David A. Tepper (Carolina Panther’s owner) territory.
Callahan has informed the requesting potential trading partner about the cost and referred to Franchise -quarterbacks as invaluable.
We are finding out if he gets what he wants – and needs – to win in Nashville.
For Titan’s fans, the efforts could not be much higher than they are in April.
