Los Angeles Thieves won two matches with a lower console on Friday in Dallas to stay alive at Call of Duty League Stage 2 Major.
In the opening round with lower console, thieves defeated Miami Heretics 3-1. Los Angeles then swept Carolina Royal Raven’s 3-0.
Raven’s blitzade Vegas Falcons 3-0 before bent out.
In the second two rounds in the lower console, Optic Texas Minnesota Rokkr 3-0, and Toronto Ultra blasted Los Angeles Guerrilla’s M8 3-0.
Stage 2 Major Qualifying Round included all 12 teams, each played seven matches to determine sowing for the playoffs with double elimination, which goes through Sunday. The championship team will be $ 150,000.
In their first match of the day, the thieves 232-218 fell to the heretics at Vault Hardpoint before claiming red card search and destroy 6-4, Hacienda Control 6-2 and Hacienda Hardpoint 250-207.
The thieves then lowered Royal Rvenens 250-65 on Vault Hardpoint, 6-1 on Hacienda search and destroy and 3-1 on vault control.
Carolina came past Vegas 250-172 on Red Card Hardpoint, 6-2 on red card search and destruction and 3-1 on protocol control.
Optic stopped Minnesota 250-232 on Skyline Hardpoint, 6-2 on Hacienda search and destroy and 3-0 on protocol control.
Ultra eliminated guerrillas 250-104 at Skyline Hardpoint, 6-5 on Skyline search and destroy and 3-0 on vault control.
