Three Turner’s 9th Inning Homer pushes Phillies past Braves

Three Turner launched a successful solo home run at the top of the ninth round on Wednesday, which led the visiting Philadelphia Phillies to a 4-3 victory over Atlanta Braves.

Turner finished 2-for-4, and teammate Bryce Harper joined a two-run Homer in the seventh round. The Philadelphia starter Taijuan Walker threw 4 2/3 shut -off rounds, which enabled five hits as he knocked out five and went three. Bryson Stott and Max Kepler also counted a couple of hits for Phillies, which leveled the three-game series at a victory.

Atlantas Austin Riley went 2-for-5 with a solo home, while Marcell Ozuna, Orlando Arcia and Bryan de la Cruz ended each with two hits. Grant Holmes beat four plus speechless innings of three-hit ball, knocked out six and went four for Braves, which has dropped 9 out of 11 to start the year.

Turner joined his first Homer of the season outside Braves closer to Raisel Iglesias (0-2) with one out in the ninth. Jose Alvarado (2-0) handed singles to Ozuna and Riley at the bottom of the ninth but knocked out Sean Murphy to secure the victory.

In the fourth round, Phillies’ Nick Castellanos and Stott beat to place runners on first and second with two outs before Holmes Fannade Brandon Marsh to keep the game aimlessly.

Holmes went Kyle Schwarber to start the fifth, which resulted in Aaron Bummer relieving the Atlanta starter. Bummer knocked out Turner and got Harper to ground into an inning-closing double play.

Arcia led the home half of the fifth with a single. After Michael Harris II and Ozzie Albies retired, Ozuna and Matt Olson, but Reliever Jose Ruiz retired Riley on a flight.

Bummer turned Bohm out to start the sixth, but Pierce Johnson took over at Haugen after Max Kepler hit. Castellanos fled out and JT Realmuto singled before Stott’s Infield met the game’s first run.

Atlanta responded at the bottom of the sixth, when walking by Murphy and Jarred Kelenic was followed by Arcia’s RBI single and Harris’ front victim.

Dylan Lee beat the top of the seventh for Atlanta, which allowed Turner’s one-out single and the two-run Homer of Harper-Hans second of the season-as Phillies gave a 3-2 lead.

Braves returned again at the bottom of the seventh, with Riley’s 417-foot solo home outside Philadelphia lacquer Joe Ross knotted the score at 3-3.
