JT Toppin got a career pile of 41 points and secured a steal with 33 seconds left in the second overtime when No. 12 Texas Tech fled with a wild 111-106 victory over Arizona State on Wednesday in Lubbock, Texas.

Toppin logged a total of eight points in OTS. He made 17 out of 22 shots from the field in total and pulled down a game high 15 returns. His can on an assist from Darrion Williams gave Red Raiders (19-5, 10-3 Big 12) a three-point lead with just under a minute left on the second overtime.

Shawn Phillips Jr.’s Jumper pulled Sun Devils (12-12, 3-10) within one, but Texas Tech made four of six free throw in the diminishing seconds to hold on for the victory.
