Top ESPN reporter believes that Cam Ward is probably 2025 NFL Draft No. 1 Overall Choice

The Tennessee -Titans have almost three months to end their research on the prospect of the draft NFL 2025, and Miami Quarterback Cam Ward can currently be at the top of his wish list.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, there has been a “building center” among speids and managers at Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama this week as Miami -quarterbacken is the likely choice at No. 1 in total.

The draft of 2025 is unique to the titans as there is no consensus no. 1 overall choice. There is no Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence or Joe Burrow in this draft class-but it does not mean that any of these drafts of qualified quarterbacks will not be good.

There is even a gap between who will be the best signal caller selected in Ward or Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders. While Ward and Sanders will compete to be the best QB-elected, no one has them as the best players in this class-like Penn State Edge Rusher Abdul Carter and Colorado Heisman winner Travi’s Hunter are higher graduated players.

But we know that the quarterback position is the most important thing in the sport, which is why Thamel’s sources are leaning towards Titans that makes Ward the first player on the board in a few months.

Not to mention, this is a rather overwhelmingly free agent quarterback class, and the titans need any help they can get after the incompetence of Will Levis and Mason Rudolph helped Tank Tennessee’s season and earned them No. 1 overall choice in the first place.

Can the Titans pay for Sam Darnold? Perhaps. They have been known to be large free agent expenses in recent years. But outside Darnold, this free bureau can have Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins, Russell Wilson and Justin Fields as the best available options. None of these players may soon be titans to be relevant soon.

The titans need both sides of the ball; It does not deny it. If they chose to go at Quarterback this season, it would leave Cleveland Browns with No. 2 Overall elections to get its choice of department or Sanders to replace the already damaged Deshaun Watson. New York Giants has the total election # 3, and you guessed it, they also need a QB.

Some would argue that if you are the Titans, you waste your time if you do not use the best choice in the draft to manage your biggest needs situation, which also happens to be the most important position in the field. This is perhaps why Thamel’s sources on Senior Bowl lean towards Ward.

The calendar has just turned to February, and we have not had Combine yet, but no one seems to have any real intrusion on how the top of this draft can be developed.
