Vikings S Theo Jackson agrees to two years contract extension

Vikings security Theo Jackson agreed to a contract extension on Thursday.

The team confirmed that the signing and several media reported that the value of the two -year agreement is $ 12,615 million by 2027.

The first two years are completely guaranteed a social media post by the Equity Sports Agency. The Vikings did not reveal conditions but noted Jackson, who is primarily a special team player, would be an exclusive right -free agent with the new league that began on March 12.

Jackson, 26, played in all 17 matches in the regular season last season and Vikings loss to Los Angeles Rams in an NFC-Vild card game.

He amounted to 17 tackles during the regular season with an interception and three passed. He played 78 defensive snaps and 340 on special teams.

Tennessee Titans chose Jackson in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL draft from Tennessee. The Vikings signed him from Titan’s training group in October 2022.
