Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody combined for 43 points, Buddy Hield and Stephen Curry made it four Golden State players by 20 or more, and Warriors improved to 4-1 in the Jimmy Butler era with a 132-108 ramp over the rival Sacramento Kings on Friday night in California’s capital.
Moody and Hield, who came from the bench towards their former team, led the road with 22 points each, Podziemski had 21 and Curry 20, which helped Warriors move past the kings in the Western Conference position.
Butler contributed 17 points to the cause.
Demar Derozan led all scorers with 34 points for Kings, who lost their second straight.
Against a team that they had lost twice – once in each place – earlier in the season, Warriors gradually pulled away from the hosts and got more than 30 points in all four blocks while surpassing the kings in each.
Led by 8-for-11-Nog accuracy from both Moody and Hield, Golden State shot 53.8 percent for the game, with 40 assists to lead the way to 50 Hoops.
Warriors also shot 46.5 percent beyond the 3-point short, which made 20 out of 43, with 7-feet Quentin Post which made all three of their attempts.
Moody and Hield shot every 5-for-8 from depth while Curry added four in nine attempts while finding time for six assists and two steals.
Butler, acquired from Miami before the trade deadline, had seven assists and three steal in one night when he was perfect on the Foul Line and went 7-for-7. Warriors made all 12 of their free throw as a team.
Draymond Green chipped in with six points, two blocks and team heights in returns by eight and assists by nine for Warriors, which improved to two matches above .500 for the first time since 18-16 on January 4.
Sleeps Sabonis ran up 14 points and a game high 14 returns for Kings, lacked a triple tub by an assist.
Zach Lavine, Malik Monk and Keegan Murray had 13 points per piece for Sacramento, which lost even though I shot 50.6 percent from the field. Derozan was the most accurate of the hosts and went 10-for-14 at the same time as he dropped all 10 of his foul shots.
Derozan also met four of his seven 3-point pictures, but the kings were still outscored 60-33 from Deep.
