White Sox Activate of Mike Tauchman, DFA from Travis Jankowski

Chicago White Sox reintroduced excursion Mike Tauchman from the 10-day injured list on Sunday.

In a corresponding feature, Chicago Outfielder, Travis Jankowski, appointed assignment.

Tauchman, 34, was put on the injured list March 27 (retroactive until March 23) due to a strained right hamstring. White Sox signed him as a free agent in December.

Tauchman is one into his eighth big league season and has played in 474 matches with Colorado Rockies, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants and Chicago Cubs.

He has a career bathing average of .241 with 32 home races and 155 RBI. He spent the last two seasons with the kids and beat .250 with 15 homers, 77 runs running in and 13 stolen bases.

White Sox signed Jankowski, 33, as a free agent on March 13, one day after Cubs released him.

A first round of Padres in the MLB draft 2012, he has appeared in 688 matches with San Diego, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets, Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers and has a career .235 average.

Seven of these games were with White Sox, and he was 3-for-14 strokes with a run.
