On Friday afternoon, NFL Networks Ian Rapoport reported that New Orleans Saints Quarterback Derek Carr is uncertain for the 2025-26 season due to a shoulder injury.

The injury threatens his accessibility for the season, and Carr weighs his options – including the possibility of surgery.

The Saints hired Kellen Moore as his new head coach after the former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator helped lead the team to a Super Bowl title. If we gave him truth serum, Moore would probably like to move on from Carr, 34, and find his quarterback of the future to build around New Orleans.

Athletic’s Diana Russini reported that Carr’s injury was not a surprise to the saints. Yet he wears a hat of $ 20.4 million in 2025. This is how New Orleans Pivot can:

1. Draft Sanders Sanders

For some unknown reason, it feels like Seedeur Sanders drafts of warehouse are slipping – especially after he met Pittsburgh Steelers, which has No. 21 Total choice, earlier this week.

Quarterback is the most sought after position in sports. If you do not have a young, premium, blue-chip quarterback, your team will probably not go anywhere. Because of this, Sanders will probably not fall out of the top 10, and the saints should take him to No. 9 in total, after Denver Bronco’s drawing of moving by an aging, expensive quarterback by drawing up one on a rookie agreement.

Deion Sanders had a cryptic post on Friday afternoon about the total election no. 9, and entertained the fact that his son could very well discontinue that place.

While Sanders is not the shaft, Moore’s offensive creativity can facilitate the transition to the beginner when he looks to translate what worked at Colorado and Jackson State to the NFL.

If a team before the Saints, such as Cleveland Browns, decides to prepare Sanders, NFL draft analyst Todd McSshay de Holy as a landing site for Ole Miss Quarterback Jaxson Dart.

2. Go and get Aaron Rodgers

For some other unknown reason, it really feels like Aaron Rodgers just doesn’t want to go to Steelers.

He has kept them hostage for over a month. Reports indicate that Rodgers wanted to wait and see if the Minnesota Vikings would express interest, but that does not seem to happen.

If we are honest, Pittsburgh and Minnesota have more talented lists than New Orleans. But if the saints are not in love with any of the beginner’s quarterbacks on No. 9, the signing of Rodgers in free agency can buy Moore and General Manager Mickey Loomis time to plan for his quarterback in the future.

3. Sign Carson Wentz in free agency

Carson Wentz had been linked to Browns, who instead chose to reunite with 40-year-old quarterback Joe Flacco on Friday.

Wentz spent last season with Kansas City Chiefs – his fifth team in five seasons – and has faded to NFL -EFUSIBILITY. But if better alternatives are not materialized, the saints can make a desperation movement, à la Andy Dalton, and take in Wentz as a bridge -quarterback.

4. Take Ryan Tannehill to New Orleans

Ryan Tannehill did not play last season, even though he was the best free agent -quarter hill that was available for much of the year.

Tennessee Titans dumped him for Mason Rudolph and Will Levis, a move that helped them land the total election no. 1 in the next 2025 NFL draft.

It is hard to believe that Tannehill is already 36, but he has played more consistent football than anyone like Wentz. We are really looking for silver lining here.

5. Just let the Spencer Rattler play

The Saints chose Spencer Rattler in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL draft. He was the next quarterback from the board after Broncos prepared Bo Nix in the middle of the first round.

When Carr was on the page last season, Rattler started six matches for New Orleans. The Holy lost each of these games. He finished only 57 percent of his passports and threw five interceptions to four touchdowns.

Letting Rattler start 17 matches would all guarantee the saints a shot to work out Arch Manning -or who ends up as number 1 -quarter hill in the 2026 NFL draft. The Saints have ignored the remodeling of the Quarterback position since Drew Brees retired. It may be time.
