The wife of an illegal bookmaker in California would lose his license as an independent agent at Resorts World Las Vegas on the Nevada Gaming Commission accepted a provision for settlement at the next meeting.
Nicole Bowyer, wife of the illegal bookmaker Mathew Bowyer and a registered independent agent at Resorts World, was named in a complaint from Nevada Gaming Control Board in mid -August who said she received payment from Resorts World despite knowing her husband’s source to means derived, at. At least partly from illegal activities.
Mathew Bowyer admitted guilty of federal criminal charges for conducting an illegal gaming business that brought in illegal sports games from several current and former professional athletes, as well as the former interpreter for Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Otahni.
The settlement that would be considered by the Gaming Commission with five members on Thursday in Boulder City would effectively remove Nicole Bowyer from Nevada’s gaming industry for at least five years, after which she could apply for a license again.
