Fresh off the runaway success of his sell-out shows across the UK last month, ZAYN has ventured across the pond to launch the US leg of his highly anticipated debut solo tour STAIRCASE TO HEAVENwith a fan-focused performance at The Anthem in Washington, DC.
Welcomed to the stage by his army of devoted fans, the Bradford-born singer/songwriter performed songs from his fourth studio album, “ROOM UNDER THE STAIRS”such as “Alienated”, ‘What I am’and “Concrete Kisses” as well as previous hits “PILLOW TALK”, ‘Sweat’and “script”.
ZAYN closed the show with a heartfelt tribute to the late Liam Payne.

The STAIRCASE TO HEAVEN the tour will see ZAYN play headline shows at iconic venues in New York, Los Angeles, and Vegas, before finishing San Francisco on February 4.
The ‘As I would’ singer has collaborated with the internet company Prizeo to raise money during each stop of his tour, supporting the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the Los Angeles Area Food Bank.
Beginning with the New York show, a special charity t-shirt will also be available for purchase, with all profits benefiting two Los Angeles-based animal rescue centers.
According to a press release, ZAYN’s decision to play intimate venues on the tour aligns with the singers’ desire to highlight the raw and stripped-down sound of his critically acclaimed fourth studio album.ROOM UNDER THE STAIRS‘.
Released in May 2024, via Mercury Records, the LP was praised by fans and critics alike, with Notice board crown it “a career highlight”and Grammy.com praise the project that calls it “an unmistakable sonic and thematic progression”.
Rolling Stone added: ““ROOM UNDER THE STAIRS” displays of an artist willingly raising the bar to give himself something to aspire to both emotionally and creatively. The musician’s stripped-down fourth studio album is a showcase for the bare basics of his artistry.“
